  1. On the TV, open Settings › Network & Internet and turn on Remote start.
  2. Home network › IP control: set Authentication to “Normal and Pre-Shared Key” and choose a key.
  3. Open Remote Papi on the same Wi-Fi, pick your TV and enter that key.

Do I need a Sony account?

No. Remote Papi talks to your TV directly over your home Wi-Fi, with no sign-in.

Which Sony TVs work?

Sony smart TVs with IP control (Settings › Network › Home network). Sony Google TV models can also be added as Google TV (beta).

It asks for a key

That's the Pre-Shared Key you chose under IP control on the TV. Enter the same key in Remote Papi.

Is it free?

Yes, the full remote is free. Remote Papi Pro is an optional one-time $1.99.
